Jeremiah 5:1-9 Finding one who is just that all may be pardoned
5:1-5 looking for someone who does justice and seeks truth
5:6-9 turning God’s kindness to idolatry
Jeremiah 5:10-19 If you love foreign gods to their land you will go
5:10-13 false prophets are windbags and will be blown away
5:14-17 God’s true words are a consuming fire
5:18-19 serving foreign gods in a foreign land
Jeremiah 5:20-31 What will senseless people do when the end comes?
5:20-25 blinded by idols and not seeing from where good comes
5:26-31 Yhwh will avenge himself on his people who love falsehood and wickedness
